LAURYN HILL GIVES BIRTH TO A BABY BOY.
“Mother and baby are fine,” says a source, who adds that Hill and family “had a little scare because the baby came out the womb with the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck. All is well now and everyone is happy.”
Lauryn Hill made headlines just last month when she surprised the world with news that she was expecting her sixth child during a show in Detroit. The singer kept her pregnancy a secret for over 6 months.
“I keep having these children. I don’t know if I’m the most fertile woman in America. I’ve got five big children, you believe that? If you ask anybody I went to high school with, they’d be like puzzled… Wait till you hear the big secret though,” she hinted to her fans during a concert back in April.
Hill’s longtime boyfriend Rohan Marley, who she already has 5 kids with and recently denied the 6th being his, was recently in the news for allegedly dumping Hill (while she was pregnant) for a Brazilian supermodel.
But Rohan has since dismissed the rumors, saying, “Ms. Hill is the mother of my children, whom I have a tremendous amount of love and respect for. I would never do that.”
